haha, yeah its dead. One of the main reasons i quit for a year. Finding an alliance to kill is about as rare as soloing deathwing at level 10.![]()
Bans Hammer Alt Night - 8pm (GMT) Lvl 8+ this Friday - Apologies alt night hasn't ran for the previous 2 weeks![]()
Ok I'd like to take the time (before I dash off for work) to clarify a couple of points.
The Bans Hammer guild is a social guild and by that I mean that no one is expected to spend X amount of hours per day/week playing. I do not expect a million and 1 events to be organised or any expectations higher than having fun and availing of the level 25 perks. Officers aren't there because they are on X amount of time, but more to do with the fact they are friendly, sociable and are willing to help others if needed. I trust the officers that are in place now to be friendly, helpful and play as much as they can/want to. With it being social I don't expect people to sacrifice their lives to the guild or to WoW in any capacity at all other than having fun.
If anyone in the guild wants to run an event they can, so if people want to run old content, so some arenas or what ever else takes their fancy ... they can. If you would like the guild cal freed up so anyone can make events let me know I'll sort this out.
By the same token I will only play socially and I work random shifts so it's not likely I will see people frequently - although MoP will likely see me being more active (who doesn't want to be a fluffy panda?). If anything needs to be altered people only have to drop me a trust and I'll sort it out asap.
I'd also like to point out if you email me asking to take ownership of the guild and I say no, then please do not continue to email me telling me how disappointed you are in me that I refuse to hand over the guild ownership or that I should be mature enough to pass it over to a better candidate. Or how it's implied I am not a long standing member of the community.
I want folk to have fun, nothing more or nothing less but I don't see why a social guild and it's members need to be micro-managed by the guild owner?
If this isn't the guild you are looking for (resists the urge for StarWars quotes) then I'm sorry to hear that and I wish you all the best in what ever guild adventures you pursue.
Anywho I'm off to work have fun.![]()
Any idea how long this offer is going to last? Planning to come back in a couple of months and would like to take advantage of the player boost.
Cheers.
Blizzard said:Eligibility & Limitations
Are all countries eligible to cast the Scroll of Resurrection?
To send an invitation an account must be a full active account in good standing. Only residents of the following countries may send a Scroll of Resurrection invitation: Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russian Federation, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine and United Kingdom. Battle.net registration required. Register at www.battle.net at no cost to you.
Who can be sent a Scroll of Resurrection?
To be eligible to receive a Scroll of Resurrection, your friend must have previously subscribed to World of Warcraft for at least 30 days and their account must have become inactive on or before March 4th, 2012.
If your friend’s World of Warcraft account has been inactive since December 2009 (or longer), your friend must first associate their World of Warcraft account with a free Battle.net account before they can receive a Scroll of Resurrection. Tell your friend to see our Battle.net Account FAQ for information on creating a Battle.net account and merging their WoW account. After your friend has set up their account, you should be able to send them a Scroll of Resurrection normally.
Can I resurrect one of my own World of Warcraft accounts?
If you have at least one active World of Warcraft account, you can send your inactive accounts Scroll of Resurrection invitations.
How long is the Scroll of Resurrection invitation good for once I send it out?
Your friend has 30 days to accept the invitation. The offer will expire if not used within that time.
Is there a limit on the number of Scroll of Resurrection invitations that I can send out?
There is a limit of one Scroll of Resurrection invitation per day per World of Warcraft Account on both the web and in-game. This makes an effective limit of 2 Scroll of Resurrection invitations per day per account if you use both sending options. There is no limit on the number of lifetime Scroll of Resurrection invitations that an account can send.
Can I invite someone who has never played before with a Scroll of Resurrection?
Scroll of Resurrection can only be used on players who once had active World of Warcraft subscriptions. For a similar offer for friends who have never subscribed to World of Warcraft, please see the Recruit-A-Friend FAQ.
Is there a delay on the invites from being sent to being received? I've been waiting a few hours for one to arrive.
