Heroic modes are what old school difficulty is for. As a player who knows they will never clear all bosses heroic difficulty during an expansion. Its still a fun experience for me and like minded people to clear full raids on normal or a few heroic modes.
The time some of the worlds top guild put into downing bosses on the ptr and then live servers is time i wouldn't have. So to be able to do raids on normal difficulty and the odd heroic is perfect for people like me.

Yes lfr is just a faceroll. But again it is for people who have even less time. Or to use it to gear up for content when guilds will only recruit people with over a certain ilvl. Its very uncommon for guilds to take a chance on people anymore.

Better to get a scroll of resurrection from someone, gives the free days, plus all expansions up to cata, as well as an instant level 80 of any class (except monk)
 
how long do u need to be out of wow to get a SOR like i have been out for a few months now but i am starting to get the WOW itch bk and i dont want it haha how is the game now i left at the dailies and was sick of the grind any advice lol

I have been back now for a little less then 2 months give or take.

I am happy to be playing wow again I am enjoying it, and I will eventually get a character that I am happy with to progress further...

But I am so sick of the dailies and I have not even been doing them that long. I have got almost no gear as a result. And for some reason I really dislike the dungeons, and as my main interest is tanking there is a minor problem here. So I am now pushing to get my mage leveled (I'll prob change my mind in a week)

The dailies are great gold income at least, so while I hate them I am trying to do as many a day as I can. I've only done 2 or 3 scenarios, those I disliked too. Something wrong with me I guess. But over all the game is enjoyable enough, I'm just not quite there to put the effort (tedious grind) in to get anywhere.
 
yeh i know i did enjoy the pvp side to the game and a lot of my friends where play it so tht made it better for me. now they all went just before MOP and they where like *** tht cos of the pandas. i did enjoy leveling my shadow priest for a change as i always healed i did a fair few of the dailes but i got board and i didnt do many of the scenarios or dungons. i did enjoy the game but i think because i will be going solo into it again thts stopping me really lol. atm i am playing DCUO and its good its passes the time and good to change really lol. GW2 just didnt really tickle my fancy. and SWTOR was good but again all my mates left lol. WOW i have always gone bk to and i do enjoy it but ATM i get board easliy lol
 
There was a few guilds about. Was a horde ocuk guild on defias brotherhood. Dont know how active thry are anymore.
Quite a few on silvermoon alliance side, not a clue what guilds they are in.
There should also be a good few on moonglade. In silvermoon guard i think its called? Alliance.

Quel'Thalas-EU? That was my very 1st realm, though was on Horde side and it was not very populated, I think it may even be quieter now?

I've got this urge to try Alliance one more time, (hopefully I can try and stick it out this time) though I honestly can't pick a realm.

All it says is players with an inactive account are eligible, so you should be fine. You'll get 7 days free to try it out anyway, and if you don't have MOP you can use the 10 day trial of that too.

Regarding dailies, I've just had my first run through the new ones introduced in 5.2, and they're actually pretty fun. A HUGE amount of new content added, even for non-raiders.

If you do want a scroll, feel free to trust me :)

lol i fort it was only months lol thts like a year haha. i am going to scratch tht itch and play tonight lol im on bloodhoof horde and another for the ally but i cnt remeber what what lol i have my 90 priest but not a fan of him so i may level an ally for a change lol i dont want to heal i wudnt mind tanking or dps how is the hunter pets now lol
