** Official World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Thread**

I would hazard a guess there will be new stuff to buy, exactly what i dont know.

I tried to do LFR last night but failedon ToES........ 1st boss wiped 3 times so left, wasnt wasting anymore of my time, hate LFR

Will the golden lotus chest be the best one to get now or is there a better one coming out with this patch?

I would recommend to save your valor points, they will not be reset when patch hits, which was confirmed by a blue post.

There will be new gear earned from the new instance faction, rep is earnced from killing mobs/bosses, and another faction whos rep is earned through daily quests.

I've been reading up on this.

The new factions rep is gained through raiding. I'm not even geared for this tiers raids let alone the new tiers (which don't drop on LFR for 2 weeks anyway). However there is a necklace you can buy from the off with neutral standing (which I shall be getting). The golden lotus chest will also be 25% cheaper. :)

The faction that has dailies...it will take weeks to get rep for that.

Valor is not being converted to jp. And on patch day there will be vp ilvl 522 necks availible on the isle of thunder.

Lore from tankspot had mentioned it in one of his videos. Recommended saving your vp.

Ive played about an hour of MoP and it's already incredibly tedious.

"we have no fight with you" "why do you fight each other" "put down yoru weapon and we put down ours" "you brign fighting here" "we will fight but dont like it" "we come in peace" "we mean no harm"

OK WE GET IT. Jesus.

People disliked WOTLK? In terms of what, content? Cause the content was far superior to TBC.

I think you could easily argue that the content in terms of polish and art direction has improved expansion to expansion. The game however? I'd say it is equally easy to argue it went the opposite way.

It all started that fateful pre-TBC patch that handed out the top end PVP epix out to all for pittance - which nobody thought much of at the time because hey, TBC in a couple of weeks. But it began a pretty horrible trend towards maximizing reward whilst minimizing effort, charting from the removal of attunements, the constant content nerfing and culminating in such things as LFR.

Blizzard basically has taken up an ethos that a hard worked progression in their games is an evil. Which is a damn shame because they're one of about 2-3 developers I can think of that have it completely perfect when it comes to how responsive and tight the games feel to play. Just such a shame they are now almost exclusively producing vacuous ****e for lowest common denominator gamer.

I see what you're saying here but I think a lot of people get "hard worked progression" mixed up with "laborious grind".

It still takes months for top guilds to clear hard mode raids but now people with less time on their hands are able to see what it's about.

I think this is a good thing personally.

HC guilds still get to do what they want and casuals get to see more of the game.
