Armour with a higher ilvl almost always has more gem sockets than say, Timeless Isle gear. Gems do not get scaled down in challenge modes.
Therefore, ilvl is not irrelevant in Challenge modes, however they are do-able without a high item level.

Both wrong and right, more ilvl as a rule means more gem slots which aren't impacted as badly by scaling.

So 463 no gems < 528 with gems in terms of CM from my readings.

Same applies for trinkets available as raid ones > dungeon ones.

Either way, I'll sit down tonight and sit if there are some groups that can be pulled together. :)

SOrry yes i forgot about sockets was merely saying item level stats dont come into it

I am Ali side but can go on my Paladin as healer or DPS

not sure i am good enough on any other chars i own
 
Ralph, which server you raiding on?

I'll actually be able to get on tonight for a decent amount of time. got a 90 warrior tank, and a 90 destruction lock

We will be raiding 10 man Hc SoO

On a seperate note is X Realm raiding coming to Normal and HC modes now ? been told (cant do much WOW surfing at work due to working for big corp company) USA have it ?
 
Moved off Darksorrow, gone back to Defias Brotherhood where the old OcUK guild Bans Hammer were... nice and full again so plenty of people to raid with!... now to find a guild and transfer my hunter over!
 
Think it's possible to go from not playing for 1 year+ to doing 14/14 heroic in SoO before the end of the expansion? Will take a while but hopefully I can do it, it's been made specially easier with the introduction of flex.

Xrealm raiding is live now mate for all difficulties

Kinda, so your meta gem and cloak procs won't work, however the stats will scale down, so ideally you need a normal meta gem as they are kinda strong.

With regards to scaling Hit and Expertise is not scaled down, so you can gem and reforge accordingly. You should go to the proving grounds to do your gemming and forging then you can be certain your gear will be good.

Although you don't need any of this to get Golds as the times are so long, all you need is a Bloodlust, Invis potions and Voice coms. Folk in my guild are running their boost babies through and 9 golds only takes them about 2h.

How far are you all through SoO? Anyone fancy linking armoury pages? :) Here's mine!
 
Can the expansion release already ;-; want to get into raiding again but barely played this expansion and not done a single raid.
