** Official World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Thread**

Well getting my account back was interesting. Haven't played since before the battle.net stuff so had to merge my old account, only it came up saying it had been merged into another account, panic.

Contacted support and they merged it into my account. It had been hacked, they added some game time and took some items, then got the account banned and made a chargeback for the game time added. Support removed the ban and chargeback, and sent a mail to my main and alt with some items to get me going.

Looking on armory some clothes are missing on my main but not all of them. Probably missing things from bank and all my gold though :(

Should be back in game by the weekend to assess the damage and see what blizzard have given me. At level 71 will probably find better items before long anyway so no big loss. And cataclysm is on my account which I never bought, win :)

Also persuaded the gf to play so going to RAF her and level up an alt with her :D she likes the sound of warrior so i might roll a priest.

Got my monk to 90 and then had a play on the Timeless Isle for a bit before I lost interest. Never really been bothered with end game stuff, I just like levelling! Started a hunter but not feeling the love so not sure what to try next, think the only chars I've not tried are Paladin, Priest, Mage & Shaman. Not Tried DK either, can you start them from scratch? I'm playing on Chamber of Aspects as well, do we still have a Guild there or did it implode?
 
My paladin has been my main and most heavily used character since I created him in 2004. Always loved him and always been retribution. My god it's been a bumpy road though through continued buffing and nerfing and rebuffing and renerfing!

Ret pally has always been a bumpy road, they have never really got it "spot on" have they!?
 
Cant wait until the WOD patch just so I dont have to worry about the hit cap on any character ever again. Its so damn annoying!

I used my character boost on a shaman as I've not played one since very early wotlk (raided hardcore on one in TBC) and I just can't get use to the totem changes since then. Basically just turned the character into a generic boring rogue/mage/priest :S
 
Does anyone know when the seasonal rewards for Challenge Modes is actually cut off, and you can no longer get the gear and stuff?

I found the hit cap really easy to reach in MoP. just a bit of reforging and done!

Elemental is quite weird now, does seem very 'magey' i'd agree there. Not a fan of the totem change either, I preferred having the 4 totems that gave buffs. but some would disagree. I like the old stuff though :)
 
Can anyone recommend an Alliance server that's well populated (busy)?

I've started playing again, but my server (Defias Brotherhood) seems really quiet on the Alliance side :(.

Silvermoon is the most populated Alliance server, quite marginally as well

If you could consider a faction change and your into PvE i'm currently horde on Defias raiding weekly :)
 
Like a moth to a flame, I re-subbed. So, what classes are the best at the moment? Above level 81 I have a Mage, Warlock, Deathknight, Hunter, Rogue and a Warrior at 75.

I'm planning to get to 90 then just play instances and the early raids.

I always was indecisive when it came to alts.

Fire Mage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the fiery, big hits. Are they still competitive in PvE?

I also want to go back and solo old raids and instances...is Prot Pally still the best solo class in this respect?

I have a prot pally at 90, and quite honestly I find my warrior far easier to solo with... Anything up to and including WotLK raids can be done in DPS spec and gear, if you spec into Second Wind... 3% healed every second when you drop below 35% is insane for old raids

just started on Draenor as well, although have more than6x LVL 90 on blade's edge, and 3x 85 on magtheridon, tarren mill and darkmoon faire.

Do you reckon draenor's a good place to be in? Horde wise.

Silvermoon is the most populated Alliance server (pve) but has queues.

Argent Dawn has a good Alliance population if you want RP.

Magtheridon is also a nicely populated server, about 55% alliance last I checked. Friend moved there from Defias and has no regrets.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Fire Mages are still pretty good, but they get outclassed by Arcane Mages.

Managed to join a guild that's 11/14 heroic and they're boosting me through the first ~7 bosses to get me geared up. Feels good to be back into heroic raiding!
 
Hi I'm completely out of the loop with WoW, gonna get back into it for WoD.

Has the beta started?
Has the pre patch event thing happened yet?

If no to those questions, any ideas on dates?
