** Official World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Thread**

The one thing that makes me wonder if I want to return is the amount of dailies that need to be done to get gear. I'll prob do mostly random battlegrounds unless I find a nice guild who do RGBs for fun and I might consider raiding as long as its easy going. Playing the catch up game for gear is going to be a blast -_-

But all this grinding for rep to get PVE gear I am not sure about. I guess I can't comment until I actually get back to the game and see what it is like.

Hopefully I get a proper internet connection sorted out soon.

Does anyone happen to know how long I need to be out of the game before I can accept a Scroll of Res again? I can't quite remember when I accepted the last one.

To be honest id say that was Double negative :D

If your going to PVP you dont need to worry about rep and can do it at your leisure ?

If your going to raid again you can go dungeons and get 463 gear (more then enough for entry level raids) you would normally have to anyway and also then do some dailiesif you want. Gear is only required to be revered so not much of a slog few days grinding. Exalted only gets you a Tabard and few mounts so unless you a mount Hoare its not necessary to get higher then Revered (no long slog to 21k rep)

Finally got Elagon down last night and had a 10% wipe on the Last boss after 10 tries

I dont know about anybody else but Elagon is 1 of the toughest healing fights i have come across and having to do it with 2 healers is even move fun.....

Blood to caffeine ratio was in the process of being topped up, though I'm still prob half asleep.

OK so my little brain implosion got it a bit off, so going from dungeon gear to raid is alright with out having to do a massive grind, which from your explanation is not to much of one anyway :)

I do enjoy doing random BGs, did not enjoy arena at all, hopefully rated BG would be alright, never done one of those.

My main problem with raids is sitting still long enough to do the thing, they seem to take forever and people get very serious about the things.

I guess as always it will be a matter of wait and see when I eventually get back into the game (internet pending) I still can not decide on class/race combo. Smash things in the face warrior style, maybe pala or sit at the back as afli lock, might attempt mage again if it does not get to boring, might even give ele shammy a go again. Or disc priest. To many choices. Not counting horde or ally, many arguments to give both a go. Sadly most of the people I used to play with no longer play. Hoping to tempt them back when I get back ;)

Oh and dont forget the Pandas :p

Another Hybrid class that can tank/heal/dps like we not got enough of them......

I think on average with doing some starting quests etc you will have to do dailies about 10-15 times on average 1000-1200 rep per day so its not all that bad, like i said Revered to Exalted is the 21 day slog but you dont need that to get VP gear.

To be honest i was proper bored of Cata and gave up playing in any form for 6 months before Pandaland but i am not bored yet of MOP so thats a good thing i suppose ?

Give it a try you might like it, i am sort of back in love with it and leveled 3 cahrs to 90 and not bored of questing yet ;)

Anyone know how long it'd take to get Shado-Pan Revered? Just hit revered with Golden Lotus and don't know if it's worth starting August Celestials and Shado-Pan.

Its the same thing mate, probably looking at about 15-20 days of dalies to get to Revered as before if your only after the VP gear only need to be revered not exalted so its about 20k rep at 1.2kish a day and as most days the dailies change its not really to hard a slog ;)

Grats! it took me about 30 failed attempts till I finally got the kill, last night we did him again first try.

Elagon is a pain because it's 2 healers only, most of the time however if people are cleaning their stacks and not getting hit by the adds that do crazy dmg it's not too bad at all to heal. Lots of fights that seem hard to heal are actually people not moving or doing something causing extra dmg.

Last boss is easier than Elagon imo, as soon as you get the placement right and people remember to focus on adds rather than dps the bosses it's easy enough.

I had my first go at MV HC last night, we got the 1st boss to 8% on our best try but again our biggest problem was people not moving quickly. It is however very healing intensive, the 3 healers we had were all healing over 65K heals per sec for the fight.

Oh well better then us i think we are up at 60 but we have been lacking DPS till recently

I think my healing gear isnt as good as it could be as i dont have any raid finder gear (blues from Heorics and still 1 green ) but of course fully chanted. We are only casual and raid for 3 hours 3 times a week, pretty much 1 shot up to Elegon so last boss going to be a doddle. We seem to have to many people who like to stand in fire also..........

if any 1 is looking to come back to wow and wants a recruit a friend inv and wants to lv a toon very fast on eu lightnings blade feel free to message me im from top wow guild in world :D

Had a sudden spate of upgrades the past two days. Weeks of winning/getting sweet F-all, not even the DE shard rolls, got 3 pieces from LFG TOES (would you look at that. Toes. Haha :p) today and another from MV.

Was approached this afternoon by a good raiding guild on our server to put in an application. Asked if they were looking to make up their numbers in the Recount 10-13 spots but somehow that went over his head. Don't think I'll bother though. I've seen all the bosses and all the raids now. Do I really want to spend whole nights and weeks on end wiping just to kill a buffed up version of something I already killed?

Any active OC Guilds around? I come back for Pandaland but im kinda on my own, most of my old mates dont play anymore. Dont mind rerolling elsewhere aslong as i got people i can chat with etc and eventually hop into a raid or 2 with, nothing too hardcore though!

Even better if the raid a litle later than the norm! 8 - 9pm UK onwards is perfect for me
