I predict World of Worgen for the first 3 weeks, how can you not! +1% damage as a racial, are you nuts!!! Kind of beats breathing underwater woot. Really looking forward to this, by then I should have burnt out and taken a 3 month break coming back all fresh and excited. Some good deals on cataclysm out at the mo by the way with a bit of searching on the interweb.
OK. So you have never played WOW, what do you have to pay to;
1. Get started (and how limited are you with that 'minimum')
2. Have the original game plus every expansion. (Are there packs?)
1. Buy the Battlechest. This comes with the game and the first expansion, the Burning Crusade (Around £15), and your first months gameplay. With this you can play up to level 70 (Current max level is 80). However it should take you a few months to get to 70 anyway. In addition you won't have access to the last continent, Northrend, which is level 70-80 anyway.
2. Buy the Battlechest and the Wrath of the Lich King Expansion (Can be had for £10-15). This will unlock the last continent and allow you to reach level 80.
I'd expect release around the same time as WOTLK, considering the last of ICC raid content opens up in like a week or so, it wont take long for people to become bored.
Blizzard have said Arthas won't be the last boss in the expansion.
Source? Its generally accepted that they have said the complete opposite and a lot of game balance talk from Ghostcrawler on the forums refers to 3.3 being the last major patch of wrath.
or even Murlocs!
