** Official WoW Catalysm Alpha/Beta Thread **

you goto a place beside dalaran crater in hillsbrad, if you remember the place which used to be a prison type camp.

Now its a farm, you will know its the right place as you can see teh pvz or sorry plaguebloom vs ghouls pets sitting outside the farmhouse.

You geta questline which involves surviving a few waves of zombies and the reward is the sunflower pet which sings the pvz theme and does other wee tunes.

Theres also a tree of life companion pet from a questline in darkshore in rememberence of auberdine or somethin like that its called.
 
Just started a DK, any one recommend a tallent setup for when ive done all the initial DK quests?

ive gone frost and have stuck some random tallents here and there.

i believe any dk spec is fine, blood presence also helps with survivability and for soloing the grp quests.

I levelled in unholy, pet that transforms, self heals, plagues, win win win
 
Thinking of coming back and trying cataclysm for a month or 2. Not played WoW since a few months after launch so I only have the standard box. Whats the cheapest upgrade path to catalysm?

might be online atm..... burning crusade £4 quid and wotlk £8 buy over battle net
 
Hmm yeah i saw the upgrade package to cataclysm was £42 with those 2 inc. I suppose i could get those 2 online and buy catacylsm a bit cheaper from elsewhere to save a fiver. Do you get free 30 days with cataclysm anyone know? (i suspect not)

no free 30 days... thats for NEW accounts only

In this case the goblin tabard is gotten from orgimmar next to the flightmaster.

anyone using the addon auction profit master for mass posting auctions such as glyphs may want to have a look at the settings.

4.03a seemingly changed the item id's of a number of glyphs, the addon does not automatically update this list so you will need to go into the settings again and resubmit the data.

In auction profit master this is simply a case of typing /apm config followed by clicking on item groups, removing all the items from the category you have glyphs under and re-adding eveything named with "glyph" then removing charred glyphs.

I have 13GB free on my drive after downloading, installing the vanilla wow, and then downloading the patch. Any ideas why it won't install?
