i feel the same about the kitty druids, i really love my druid though, the only other spec i would play is resto. i really dont like the boomkin spec at all.
the size of this patch is looking insane, some people saying 1.2gb then others saying nearly 6gb. whats the truth?
 
Meh i really hate patch days, due to addons being messed up + the feel of new unfamiliar things. Doesnt help im in a really cba day. Logged off after an hour, got fed up of it :s

Hope i feel better when i log on later.
 
I've been leveling a mage after coming back from a break, they have really screwed this guy over. NO good aoe until lvl 52 now :o cone of cold and arcane blast do about half the damage as well now and cost a lot of mana??

I've got the glyph to make slow fall free but I can't get it until lvl 32. No food or water conjuring until lvl 38 as well. NO asking any mage in dungeons for water until 38 /cry

I'm going to go and cry now.

They seemed to have balanced mages out now by removing any form of decent AOE until later levels, make them cost more money by having to purchase water and have less utility than before.
 
yeah looks like imba arcane spec damage at 80+ with 40k+ crits and over 10k sustained. It's going to take a while getting there now though.

You can spec Ice Shards at level 30 that improves Blizzard but you can't get the Blizzard spell until lvl 52 :(

Single point damage is way up for me at lvl 30, but there's no aoe. I've not actually been hit yet when starting at max range. Maybe a 20% dps boost.
 
To be fair on the magi, I never really used AoE until the much later levels anyway. As you're levelling up, even single point damage in 5 man instances are more than adequate.
 
Lol, non expansion pack characters are now in exp locked battlegrounds. That's my classic account cancelled forever :p

Had full Tier 2/ Tier 2.5 / 17 Slot 20 stat gem gear in the end :p

I think my Prot Pala is awful now. Holy side of things seems a tad confusing but will give that a go when i get the Alpha of Healbot.

Mage seems the same.

I was mainly AOE spamming though instances on horde side with the talents to increase crits and crit damage. Made certain instances really bloody funny :)
 
Apparently I'm dead, when trying to teleport in a dungeon whilst in bear form. :D

Fun times ahead, face rolled my spec and action bars, barely take any damage in pre icc gear without reforging. Can't hold aggro so well now though as swipe has been given the shaft.
 
It's taking ages to install!! I'm a bit nervous about playing my retridin after all i've heard though :(
Although i do like some of the changes to the hunter, won't have to make my own ammo now :)
