** Official WoW Catalysm Alpha/Beta Thread **

I have the game in my game list now =D Thanks Colin. Excellent. However, when I try and copy my character, it just keeps refreshing the page. Which is a bit annoying sadly. Tried clearing the internet cache, and still no joy. Tried with both Chrome and IE. No such luck sadly. Will keep trying.
 
All that are now in if you fancy going for some instance fun tonight let me know ( I wont say any names in case it's against the NDA ).

I have a level 82 DK Tank - Pretentious.

Pretty sure we aren't allowed to post the link to the alpha forums, you should get an email at some point, if not post a char name and a time and I can meet you online on the alpha and give you the link.
 
Ok, I managed to download the client. And I right in thinking the installer is only 25MB? When I run it, it says it can't find World of Warcraft.

Where should my WoW folder be for it to work?

Could you maybe send me the link to the Alpha forums in my trust? I don't have the email (may have been deleted) but I had the game in my list. Thanks ^^

Try right clicking the WoW launcher and run as administrator then run the alpha installer again, it should find WoW then.
 
I think you just need to go to the US forums log in there and there will be a link to the BETA Forums that only people who are on ALPHA have access to.

Nah mine took hardly no time. Its just that everything is down now.

For those who have been testing a while are things down often or at set times or does it just pop on off?

Dont answer if this question somehow infringes NDA :eek:
