You can't play as a Goblin or a Worgen without Cataclysm. You can't play as a BElf without TBC. Otherwise yes though (not sure about BElf warriors though).

I was completely put off WoW by wrath. Had its good points but in general I hated the expansion.

Not a full expansion yet but a fully redone world, graphics seem updated, some of the old stuff which 4 years later should have changed now has, well it has just really got me interested again.

Just re-rolled a troll hunter in the new troll starting town/city and having loads of fun so far. Cant wait to reach Org and see the redesign and the Barrens as that seems one of the most heavily redesigned zones.

Got my thumbs up!

edit: Plus the troll druid cat form looks so good, tempted to roll a druid just for that :p

The 7 Summoners in BRD (Doom'rel and all those dwarves) give 60 rep each!

This might seem tedious to do, but not if you are a rogue or druid! Right after killing the 6th dwarf, stealth and wait for Doom'rel to say 'Your Challenge has failed,' then you may talk to him again and continue getting rep.

This means you can get a trike.

i too was put off by wrath and the state of the game then, i got my account deleted so IF i returned, it would just be a original account for the time being but i might wait to se how things change when cataclysm hits as real life is pretty good atm :p
 
does anybody know if they are going to release any new servers along wtih cata, i fancy a total reroll onto a new server

Loads of troll druids, yes, but some of the other new class/race combos are gonna be really rare IMO. Things like Orc Mage or Dwarf Warlock are gonna be rare, hardly anyone rolling them. There aren't that many Undead Hunters either.
 
I've currently got a lvl 80 warlock, but got bored of playing as everyone was gear score mad etc,

What i'd like to know would it be a more lvl playing field for me if i was to rejoin the wow world?
