They havnt said, on MMO it just says ZG will be removed as a raid instance.

So take your screenies now just in case ! I am deffo going to do the rep grind now I think :p

That's because they aren't taking you for your benefit, but for their own selfish greed.

Run your own group, try to take newer players and players that you trust. You don't want whiners, gearmoaners, and giddy purple fever addicts.


But on the same note, don't take anyone with only quest blues. :>
 
I couldn't believe it yesterday.

Fellow officer in guild decided he was gonna try get Tiger mount due to the removal of ZG and it dropped for him on first run resulting in much rage from people who have been going every reset for months.

Less than impressed.
 
When I decided to go for the Tiger a good few months ago I got it on my second run. Needless to say my GM who has been grinding the thing for months now and still has not got it was not impressed

Meanwhile I loled :p

Still as I now have the tiger I very much doubt I will ever see the raptor :p

Well actually I hate it, just got my first catch of Dark Herring yesterday to finally finish my Salty title. Few thousand fish fished to get that! Still no tiger/raptor mount for me either :(
 
Even though I have stopped playing the game, it sucks that they are remoing ZG as it was always one of my favourite raids. I was also running it every reset for the mounts and had no luck. Ah well, it doesn't inspire me to return to the game to farm them as they will probably keep them in there in some capacity. It's said that they are turning the ZG area into an easily accessible questing area, and people have suggested that they should have dailies for rep and when you reach exalted you can buy the mounts for a ridiculous amount of gold, that way it keeps them in the game and they are still 'kind of' difficult to get.

i doubt they woudl be too concerned abotu keeping mounts in the game, RIP amani warbear :rolleyes:
 
I was reading a thread on the US forums earlier about this ZG removal and everyone is asking whats going to happen with the mounts and will they be kept in the game etc. so lots of people still want them, they could end up making them items that you buy via the Blizzard online shop similar to that horse one.

Don't forget to farm the ZG armor/neck/trinket set too, it won't be there anymore!

I gotta do the quest chain now for trink.
 
My main is a DK so sadly no armor sets for me there :(

tbh it wouldnt surprise me if they do just remove the mounts. As mentioned they have taken out things like this before a la amani bear (Which I would really like) and even titles like Hand of A'dal. The result load of people moan and whine, blizz go tough its happening and people carry on playing anyways.

If they do make it easier to get them mounts, blizz will just get another up roar of people saying how unfair it is because they had to spend ages grinding etc etc

Tempted to start mount farming in ZG but my luck with that sort of thing is horrible. I gave up on the stratholme mount after farming 2 hours a day for 3 weeks (which is about 170 attempts). However saying that couple weeks ago I got Mr Pinchy on my first ever cast on a highland pool and got the pet on the first wish, queue much hatred from guild members who have been trying months to get it, and even more hatred when I jokingly said they obviously werent trying hard enough to get it

Yeah, took me the best part of a year and a half to get salty, awful awful rng.

Also took months of doing the cooking dailies to get the delicious chocolate cake recipe, that was hellish

Hopefully not long until i'm apok - the light of dawn.

I feel the same, which is why I always keep my Hand of A'dal title on and ride around on my Amani War Bear :D
