*****OFFICIAL YOUTUBE COMMUNITY THREAD*****

I've started getting into the whole 'Let's Play' thing, currently with a focus on RPGs.

I've just finished a play through of a Dungeons and Dragons adventure pack - The House Phiarlan carnival, and am starting one of an action RPG called Venetica.

My channel is here: http://www.youtube.com/user/AngryMog

I know there's sound problems with the first 2 chapters of the DDO videos, but I've sorted them out for the later ones.

lol I think this thread brought on a strange dream. I dreamt that I got loads of awesome clips for a video i was making - then I woke up and didn't have any of them and was like :(

My first video attempt on capturing a short take off in FSX which I did last year:
(best watched full screen 720p)

Here's one of my DDO videos. It's a companion piece to the House Phiarlan series and just shows how to avoid an annoying bit of the map, something I failed to do in my initial run through.

I have my own channel, still pretty much in its infancy. Mainly retro but starting to do some sc2 stuff in an attempt to find another groove that I can get into.
upload a video or two every week , I try and mix it up.

This defiantly isnt a fraps and upload channel, and im improving my production values all the time.

Watched your Saturn retrospective and part one of the Dreamcast diaries.

Interesting. Nice voice - v. important for this, of course (I'm still battling with Audacity to get settings where cutting out my PC's fans doesn't make me too high pitched).

Are you using a tripod for your camera - seems to be being handheld when you're filming yourself.

Intro music seems a bit too loud compared to the rest of the video.

thanks for the comments, i gotta admit this youtube malarky is tough - I find it quite hard to film myself to be honest.

In my earlier stuff it was effectively a tripod mounted high, more recently its turned into a bit of a handheld affair simply as a more successful youtuber who does similar stuff said that a lot more people watch if you show yourself as its just that more personal.

yeh intros are still very much WIP, you can see iv gone from the massive intro which is pretty heavy to the short and sweet jazzy one lol.

I use a flip mino hd to record stuff with, if i ever do ingame stuff its just fraps or live recording, editing in vegas 10 which is like learning a degree in itself.

Can't believe I recorded this almost three years ago now

I don't really have any serious gaming footage like frag movies or anything. Mostly rubbish Test Drive Unlimited and GTA San Andreas/GTA IV videos like this:

I've got shed loads of demos from when i was a keen css gamer but i've never bothered to avi any of them :( this one isn't brilliant but it's the only one i have:
