Officially old

Early 40s yes...when you hit late 40's though it's a whole new experience
Agree

For me after around 47 everything changes (health/Fitness/eyesight/Body movement/ etc) and not for the good :( (Am 53 now)

Dunno, 51 here and having lost over 5st in the last 11 months I feel as fit as I did back in my mid 30s. My day job involves me walking 30km a shift (including pushing heavy kit around) and I don't even feel knackered at the end of the day, barely break a sweat and my knees are fine. In fact, I walk to work in the morning, and on occasion I walk home at night too.

Making a noise every time you get up and down.

Yeah but they’ve never been known for their brightness. Back in the day, in the student union bar there were specially slowed down Space Invaders machines for the medical students.

True story
First two years of working at the hospital I was working with mainly 14 to 19 year olds but also did stuff with Medical Students/ Young Doctors.
We did this Induction over two days, had lots of problems and we had to write a report up which our Manager read.
He was not amused, he ordered us to contact the schools contacts where the kids came from and for them to come to the hospital for a meeting because he wasn't having what he had read.
I politely told him it wasn't our kids but Young Doctors :)

I feel your pain. Getting proper flirty with one of the nurses at work to the point where, when our shift patterns align, we're probably going to end up going out. What threw me though is when she mentioned her parents, her dad is 7 years younger than me.
Can't remember if it was you or not defending him on the Russell Brand thread

Why not check first then, it only takes a few seconds.

I have 3 posts in that thread, one where I wished that Brand's anus would grow tastes buds, one showing an image of a growler in response to a post about Lorraine Kelly and the final one asking what happens if, after a night of passion, the girl you're with turns out to be a vindictive sort with slapper's remorse. So no, it wasn't me defending the odious ****.

I felt old when someone thought my mum was my wife :( (she's 75, i'm 49). A couple of people have done it. No we weren't canoodling

Doesn't that say something really good about your Mum?
I suppose it works both ways.
My Dad was 22 years older than his new wife but together he looked 11 years younger and she 11 years older so they never looked odd.

You're correct, i should've added to my post that my mum looks great for 75. She's only just started getting a few grey hairs and is in good physical shape, not on any medication etc.

I raise you..

Nose/Back/ neck/ eyebrow hair

Eyebrow hair, yes! I didn't realise it was a thing, but my barber asked me for the very first time this year if I wanted my eyebrows done (age 44). As it came out of the blue, I automatically replied - no. You know that moment when you mind just goes blank and you're not sure how to respond? It was like that. If I get asked it again, I'll know next time and will just have to say yes.

Just turned 43....and that evening I had to go to the gym to do my physio work for my knee pain.....seems about right. I can lift the same...I cant recover the same.
