Um, 'cause it's a Mustang engine? Ford's 4.6litre Modular V8 IIRC.

Yes it was released by MG, Clarkson slated it for tall its usual 75 problems but loved the sublime slow motion handling and effortless powerslides..

I have read the auction, what are you getting at?

This is not a DIY job, it is a real production MG, just like the one clarkson drove on top gear.

And as I suspected, the owner has put the mustang badge on the intake because he is no doubt under some kind of illusion that he has a mustang.
