Reminds me of an ex who got a brand new 206 with alloys and sporty gear for her 'GCSE results'. Her sister got a Ford Puma for her results (she got straight A's) however, my ex got C's and D's (and didn't try). Now that is spoilt.

Not as bad as some of these Americans. Was watching this mtv show (sweet 16 - I know I need to stop watching this trash 
) and some girl was nearly sick when she heard she was going to be getting a second hand car! Luckily however she ended up with a new audi a4 as her first car so everything was ok...fewww

My ex got a brand new, top of the range, every extra going Honda Jazz. It was given to her by her multi millionaire grandfather, who demanded she have the best car going. Unfortunalty she didnt like the civic much, and cried and cried untill he bought the Jazz. On top of that he paid the £1k+ insurance costs and MADE her bring it round his house once a week so he could wsh it for her.
I once told her how my best mate had just gone out and bought - i.e. paid with his own money, for a Ford feista. She turned to me laughing saying is that all he could afford?!?!...... thats when I truely saw the spoilt b*tch I was almost shacked up with. Still the intention was to marry her and wait for her grandfather to die, passing on his wealth... sometimes I still regret fighting with her so much
edit: How I couldnt stop smiling when I'd heard she'd revered it into a street light at quite a high speed (she was now an ex). It still brings a loving smile to my face when I see her drive past in the highly dented car, that even her grandfather refuses to fix, it being her third accident now

I remeber when I was with my ex and I met her parents for the first time and her mother saw what car I was driving, and she said and I qoute "Oh I thought you'd have something newer than that" I didn't exactly think at the time that an L reg Corsa was all that old. It was a fun reliable little car.
That really got my back up that comment did at the time. Wanted to giver her a slap.

Thats funny becuase I always thought the Almera 1.4 didn't have any extras at all, merely the bare essentials of electric front windows, PAS, central locking and AC?

I'm not sure if its just me, but to me an 8-10 year old small-ish car tends to look more dated than a larger car of the same age, not quite sure why and its not true of all cars, girl at my school drove a small ish car and at first impressions it looked much older than it was, like I'd have guessed early '90s, when it was infact '97, if you compare it to say teslas old mondy you get the effect I'm talking about. I'm probably talking nonsense though
