I was always amazed the Ferrari F40 didnt have electric windows, dont think the first ones had windows barely just sheets of plastic to pull back for some air.

I particularly love telling them that my group 16 Jag cost less to insure than theirs, just because it hasn't got any boy racer image...

Thing is though thats almost certainly NOT the case.

Pick any of the decent insurers, right now, and run through two quotes for yourself with exactly the same details only with one car being a Group 16 Jag the other being a Corsa 1.0.

The Corsa WILL be cheaper.

You may well find your car costs less to insure than your mate or whatever pays for his Corsa but unless both policies, drivers, addresses, claim history, etc etc are identical you cannot really compare. There is more to insurance than just the car.
