I know, ive come across these methods.

Some use the old disabled drivers loophole, others claim the car is older than it is.

All im saying is, be careful.

Some people have been caught out and left with a car they can only use on track. Its one of these things that will only hit you when the car arrives. Keep it in mind.

Thanks man.

Iirc, the disable driver thing has been closed now - no more adding a noob to steering wheel etc. It is also hard to lie about a manufacture date, dvla do physical examination of the car - my fto was examined.

Let me tell you a lilttle secret though - Certificate of cornformity or type approval can be obtained if you know the right people. ;) This can be used instead of model report. Also there are loopholes in the law too but i wont tell you that. :)

This post will self erase in one hour.

yeah I know..

Quite a few garages use these methods to get cars for sale here....

Why that model? Would you not prefer the older RVR with the Evo's 2.0 turbo?

That would be worth going for... just for the sleeper factor :)

I like this shape better and am at a point in my life now, all am after is comfort and cruise (with practicality etc). No more go fast.... Im growing too old i guess. The one with evo engines are rated and one is been sold for like 5k or so on Autotrader.

Yeah

2 so far.

And I totally agree.

Not worth it unless you want something special. Even then, you'll likely find one here that someone else has imported for less than it would cost you.
