Psilonaught, I see that you've whacked some sort of gauze material in a couple of bays of your LL70, presumably on a level with your Vapochill.

I'm a bit confused as to why though, 'cos judging from the picture you have the rad-end at the rear and the box-end at the front. What's the purpose of it? :)

its not actually a wide aspect LCD, its a samsung 152T, there is a 172W which is a wide version for about 400 i think

Oooooo you lot just wait till my desk is built:D Its very nice, and its huge! Im getting it designed for me, cabinets, compartments, space for two towers as I specified, 4 drawers, I cant wait till its built:) Cost a bomb though:eek:

Thought i'd do an update now that i've moved house and got a new desk, screen, and sound setup.

As you can see theres still a bit of unpacking to be done ;)

OMG! That set up is sweet. Certainly braggin rights. Very nicely layed out too.

EDIT- What are the specs of the hi-fi? Are they NAD seperates?

Cheers guys.. i have to say i'm very impressed with the Apple monitor, i was a little worried about the response rate as apple seem to conveniently skip showing it anywhere in the specs.. But after playing some games i can tell the response rate is definitely better than my Samsung 181T was, and only slightly worse than my Hitachi.

As for the hi-fi specs, Yep thats a Nad C350 amp and C521i cd, and the speakers are Kef Q1.. From the limited time in which i've had them setup now, i have to say they are excellent quality, and sound far superior to any pc speakers i tried out (was going to buy the Logitech Z-680's but realised i've never had a room where i could setup the 5.1 neatly, and why not spend a bit more and get some reasonable hifi stuff.

EDIT: oh and i should say that i've still got my Audigy eX in the pc at the moment, so i imagine things will only improve when i get round to my rebuild (watercooling, abit nf7-s 2.0, wd raptor and the m-audio card still to be installed).

That reminds me, i need to take some time now i'm setup to write a brief review of the stuff for Spacey.

I knew it reminded me of something when i moved in just couldn't put my finger on it, but you've hit the nail on the head!!!

I'm almost tempted not to get a cordless dect phone now just cos of the novelty factor!!
