OLED .....not yet guys !

i too would rather wait for the FLAT OLED at Xmas...............but surely any Videofile Geek will be looking on E-Bay all the time, just in case.

a curved 55'' OLED at £1300 is pretty cheap, the problem is i already have a 55'' screen

Second hand or new?

90% of consumers have no idea what OLED is and will want 4K LED as it's the marketing rubbish that's rammed down their throats.

OLED's, Kuro's, VT65's etc will sell much easier on enthusiast forums.

I've had my LG OLED for 4 months now I think, still looks as good as the day I got it.

there's a Panny ZT60 that failed to sell on Ebay...twice he re-entered it, it didn't sell both times, he wanted £2200 for it, that really put me off.

My next upgrade will be a 4K OLED. I'm hoping by the time I can justify that amount on a TV, there's many more 4K sources rather than the odd show on Netflix.

My current OLED still blows me away when I watch a BD on it.

The 55EF950V and 65EF950V 4K OLED flat screens should start appearing soon. The 55" should be around the $3k mark from what I've read, so £2,500? Or is that optimistic!

Anyway it's what I'm waiting for before I upgrade again.

Apparently they'll be sporting a transparent stand to give the appearance of floating.
