Oh god please let it end!

If I hear another NA NA NA NA NA NA NA I'm going to jam pens in my ears. I hate that song when it's sung well.
 
From start to finish, very dry impressive. Top marks to everyone involved. Told a great story of our past, present ad future with the young kids lighting the most epic flame. Proud to be British. Always have been but this shows the world what we are about. We are the best nation in the world, yeah we have faults like everyone else but we hold our head high, lick our wounds, get back up and carry on. This opening event is the best one I have seen. Itsnit all drums, fireworks etc. Its pure 100% British. That's what we are. Go team GB
 
I must say, I wasn't bothered about the whole opening ceremony to begin with but good lord, im impressed (apart from Arctic Chavs). Amazing!!
 
Crikey, 00:45... So any ideas how that many people are going to get back home or to wherever they're staying? Are there special train/tube services?

Public transport in London will operate for extended hours on Games competition days. London Underground (Tube), London Overground rail, DLR and some national rail services will be extended to run until approximately 1.30am. Many bus routes will operate a 24-hour service as is currently the case in London.

This should be normal tbh, not just for special occasions!
 
Pass it on to the younger generation......... except in the case of music, where we roll out an old guy who just can't do it anymore. He was awful at the Jubilee concert and he is no better today. Still, I enjoyed the rest of it.
