Actually, he lost the Prologue to Fabio in this years tour. Ok, its not a full TT, but heck, it still is a TT in my book.

I has given up on the track because he has lost the drive for it. He got a lot of medals and thought that he couldn't be bothered with it any more. He wanted a new challenge.

No links to this, but IIRC it is in some article/documentary on him.

I would fully expect Fabio to beat Wiggins today. I hope it doesnt happen, but its the norm when these two guys go head to head. Plus Cancellara is well rested.

There wasnt any real expectation to get a medal in the women's event. Pooley did a great ride but shes too small and light for a flat TT.
