Olympic Track Cycling

It was clearly shown on bbc live coverage, they must be just turning a blind eye, they do tend to be more leniant in multi racer sprint events.

Oh ok, well your the first person whose mentioned it so far...seems like no one else has mentioned it as if yet.

There'd be an absolute uproar if she was DQ'd from two events considering she would have probably won gold yesterday as well.

Why?? if she is DQ'd because she broke a rule then no one can complain in all honesty but obviously there will be an uproar sadly if they do decide to DQ her.

Hopefully they wont as she deserved that gold medal....we wont be seeing her race for GB again as shes retiring after these olympics.

I thought this whole DQ talk started as a joke, now I'm not so sure. Was there actually a chance she could have been disqualified? How would that even work? Surely once the silly bike is out of the way it's a free for all?

What are you guys on about Pendleton being possibly DQ'ed in that last race of hers?

There was a possible DQ decision for two riders further back, the commentators mentioned it, but that event DIDN'T involve Pendleton.

Anyway, it was a great race, amazed at how much acceleration she has. Team GB are dominating in the velodrome.

Possible infringement for Vicky was when she drifted slightly into Lee of Hong Kong's lane just before the finish. It could be viewed that she changed her lane and was impeding Lee from going for the finish by blocking. They looked at it, but clearly decided it was nothing.
