I found an old no royalties on hold disc, just the standard stuff, its better the free one that came with it.
I'd rather have some jazz, but its all about being as beige as possible
Can u imagine the amount of customers you would lose if u played that while they were holding...customers hate being put on hold as it is so can u imagine them crying down the fone when you tell them your going to put them on hold?? LOL

Fortunately, the employees are the ones who don't like it (but are also incapable of offering better free suggestions) and the punters tend to like it. Even BT said that they liked it!

When I worked at NatWestm the switch declines department always had some cheesy 80's hits playing. The amount of times I used to just sit there listening to Spandau Ballet or Culture Club was silly.

I had the same problem about a couple of years ago trying to find royalty free stuff. Most of it is utter crap.
I ended up with a mixture of euro-sounding techno stuff that was actually quite bland and some plinky plonky piano stuff.
Mixed it all so there were no silent bits between tracks and job's a good 'un.
It's still overall rubbish though, but better than a lot of places I call.
