100,000 right now is still excellent. It feels like the in-game population is plummeting now... rarely see other players, in town or out.
But spread over how many servers and how many 'worlds' on each server.100,000 right now is still excellent.
I do agree the world feels dead, im actually playing it like a single player experienceBut spread over how many servers and how many 'worlds' on each server.
I've been playing every day and have just noticed a rapid decline in seeing other players, that's all.
Have they broken deviant tanks?
I wanted to remove one and replace it with an Electric Eel I just caught, and I no longer have the "G to retrieve" option when I approach a tank
So what's the verdict on this then?
Worth trying out?
Thanks for the feedback,Well, the game is free to play so if you don't like it then you can just uninstall it. Be careful though, if you pick a old server it going to be reset in a week or two. So try and find a newer one, hopefully it says how far the server gone when you picking one. Personally in regards to the verdict. I am having fun playing it, although doing it solo so certain things, bosses and Prime War is not that good for a single player. But part from that, having fun !
To be fair, you wont be the only one, games with resets always do lose a portion of their userbase when they reset. No matter how good/bad a title is, whenever theres a reset theres always that portion of players who simply arent willing to re-do everything. Its a bit of an issue for games that reset, even really good titles like Tarkov lost a bunch of players after their first wipe. Its a double edge sword for game design, whilst its important for the style of game to reset, its also something which repeatedly chips away at player retention. It's a great game that I've had over 160h fun out of since launch but not sure I'll be going back after the reset.
There are many full price AAA games I've had nowhere near as much playtime from!
