I crawled over the finish line that was December 24, after 10 days off I was dreading going back, but after getting through the first week I can honestly say that I vastly underestimated how bad it was going to be.

Think its time to find a new job and/or career.
 
This week was a drag, the job itself wasn't bad but my body-clock is screwed up, still i have a week off in a couple of weeks.
 
This week has dragged, they have got rid of shifts, moved some colleagues to different departments so now everyone is working 8am-4.30pm so there is never any work ready for when I get in so I'm just standing around waiting for work to come in.
 
Going home shortly, week flew by...makes a world of difference doing a job I enjoy with people I like for the last 4 months after 8 years in monotonous hell.

Tool setter, so I can only set machines up once work has come in that needs to be run. Not the best job in the world but its a 10minute walk from my house and the pay is okay.

Want to do something different though just got to decide what I want to do might go for a part time college course to try and move in another direction instead of doing the same type of jobs.
