Not dreading. Quite happy to be back at work as I enjoy my job.

Whilst I work to live rather than the other way round I still enjoy work. That said, I could do with another week off!

I've been off since 17th December, and done a whole lot of nothing over the Christmas and New Year period!

I was dreading coming back in today, but I went to the gym this morning (first time in a couple of months) and actually today hasn't been that bad at all. It's 16:17 and the day has flown by :)

Well work didn't involve much actual work , so I guess I cant complain.

More of the same tomorrow I hope!

I was at work two days between Christmas and new year then it's fallen so I've had six days off since New Year's Eve and don't go back until Thursday...however it's back to normal routine tomorrow as kids go back to school.

My day was busy as expected and they also dropped over time on us. I wasn't informed by my manager though so.. see no evil hear no evil.

The real kicker is the battery in my car key fob died, I can open the door manually but the Immobilizer was kicking in at ignition. A colleague dropped me off at the local, Morrisons so I could get a battery but I had to walk my way back to work. I got home an hour after I finished.

Today I sat around in my pants next to the fire drinking green tea and doing a bit of work. I even got a cycle and a nap in this afternoon. Terrible

I'll feel awful putting on my invoice

I don't mind going back to work. If anyone is really dreading it they should change jobs.

However, I'm writing this sitting in a plane at the end of a fantastic holiday and I always find that very hard. It isn't the Drea of work, but the end of so much fun that is depressing. Work is looking quite good, busy travelling this week with some exciting meetings. A week back at the desk then I have a long weekend skiing already.

So how has the first week back been ?

It amazes me how quickly Xmas and new year become a distant memory and normality returns...

This week has flown by too.

New year same old... problems

Why can't my colleagues from the USA, or rather one of them, just go away and leave me alone.

Not as bad as feared. The problems I was expecting went OK but a couple of other ones sprung up. I've lacked motivation back at home though.
