Not looking forward to it. Although at the end of January is bonus time so makes it slightly more tolerable. I'm hoping to find something in another country this year so just going to keep looking.

I work Sunday night to Thursday night so this year has fallen just right for max "freebie days off" (not having to use any of my 33 days allocation for xmas hols). I save em up for a humongous 5 week block in the summer. Usually a bit of a bugger going back to work after that though !

I'm off to Liverpool tonight (well, Knowsley) so it's interesting with the route I use (Oakham, Melton, Kegworth, Stoke,M6-j16) to see how the flood waters are.

What's your job ?

I work in a drawing office as a draftsman.
Like the last few years, I've taken just about all of my holiday for the year over Christmas and new years. Until Christmas eve I'd only had 3 days holiday in 2015.
Bit of a slog to get through but now it's here I'm going to relax and enjoy it.

I'm dreading getting up at 5:40 tomorrow morning cos my sleep pattern has gone to hell, and im really dreading the first day as I work shifts, 4 on 3 off, so that first 10 hour shift is going to drag on & on & on. :(

A part of me is looking forward to the routine again. Another part is thinking

You looking forward to getting back into the normal everyday grind of things?

I'm bored of partying thats for sure. But it only takes a week or two before I'm bored in work..

Glad to be back or not?

Or if you have not been off over Xmas and New Year can that be quite postive too? Does it break up the grind of drinking everyday because one can? :p

Im back tommorow aswell and im the same, looking forward to getting back in a routine as im sick of eating rubbish. Give my liver a break aswell the poor lad :D . No more lie ins is a sickner though

Another year of pointless tasks, arbitrary deadlines, tribal management and school playground politics resulting in yet more shoddy products.

Roll on retirement.

Possibly not going anywhere until the end of the month, but that would be me going back to work for three consecutive months. Hoping to find out tomorrow when the manning office on the Isle of Man reopens after their break.

Can't say I'm looking forward to it either unfortunately. :(

Oh yeah going from 10am lie ins to 5.50am is gonna sting. I'd try going to bed early tonight but my sleep pattern is set at 1am so it's gonna be Sunday night insomnia for me!

Location: OCP Headquarters

True, but having ED-209 shooting up the place, board members "falling" out of windows and a conspiracy that goes all the way to the top must make it a pretty interesting place to work sometimes.

Back in tomorrow but I've cancelled my overtime so dont have be up until 7 then in work at 8 so not to bad as Im always up early no matter what time i go sleep :(.

Just the job I hate I need something different. Thinking of doing a part time college course and try something different.

I'm about as fed up as I could be. At least I'm working from home Monday and Tuesday

Finished work on the 15th dec run around getting presents, starswars movie, works xmas do (lose a complete day for recovery) drive down to Norfolk for a week to meet up with family, fly to miami to see in the newyear with step sister and explore for a couple of days. Hiring a motorbike and heading down to the Florida keys for four days tomorrow and exploring again. Then back up to miami and then work starts by flying to detroit for a meeting, then fly down to california for work purposes then back to the uk on the 17th. New bathroom floor fitted on the 18th and then back to work.

I'll think about getting a job this year. No promises though.... :p

Wouldn't mind a snowboarding holiday though. And a trip to the USA. Might combine the 2.
