*** OnePlus 2 ***

Rather interested in getting one of these but the invite system seems to be a real pain - the fact that there are a load of people just spamming their invite link all over social media etc has got to be somewhat counterproductive, it doesn't add anything just fill threads with junk.

I'm impressed that ocuk doesn't seem to have been reduced to that (although i'm pretty sure it would fall foul of the no referral url rules...)

as mention elsewhere there doesn't seem to be all that much interesting stuff happening on the mobile front of late, even the new motorolas aren't all that different from the previous gen.

I'm just hoping they'll roll out the phones fast enough so people don't need to wait for an invite that long if they're on the reservation list. I think this is the phone I'll most likely end up with though, the next best reasonably sized phone coming out soon is the rumoured N5, but that doesn't sound that interesting either. Was really hoping Motorola had something special seeing how great their phones have been the past couple of years.

yes you are right , the opo has inferior camera , screen , non removable battery no sd card slot , lower dpi screen so yes its a flagship killer er not !! you can get the same spec in the lenovo vibe x2 but wont justify the big price tag because pointless benchmarks fudged to big up certain hardware to sell it antutu anyone

as for yes its got a octo core cpu and loads of ram that means squat maybe 0.05 of a seccond loading antutu well worth it not on this theme dx 12 coming has only just made use of upto 6 cores in games on desktop cpus so please dont beleive the marketing rubbish

Please. Come back when you actually know what your on about.

But their motto is "Never Settle"!

Also OP play the HYPE card as it's their way of free advertising. People seems to forget how much the phone costs and how little margin they have to spend on marketing.

Oh right....thanks ever so much kona.

Wow...I'm 116,630/740,196 just as well I'm not really interested in buying this phone haha

You are in position

I'll share the invite as I don't want a 2012 device. I'm having to use my 1+ as my Nexus 6 has a faulty battery and I wouldn't go back to 1080p screen now.

Im in the low 100,000 and not interested in this, looks like crap and missing key features.

I will share my invite if (big if as the invite system sucks) it arrives.

and here end the lesson , couldn't have said it better opo 2 average phone , amazing hype

The three things that made the OPO a fantastic phone:

Well-rounded, high end feature set
Insane pricing
CyanogenMod

None of them factor into the OP2...

I'm out.

If anyone has a spare invite I'll be interested. Can't see another phone on the market that matches this for value for money until the Moto X Style/Pure arrives.

Kind of want and don't want this

The other option only is the A5
The vodafone ultra just looks too tacky

I seem to be at position 32k. I only signed up couple of days ago

Are the big numbers just fake?

I'm the same, I'm stuck between this and the New Moto X Style/Pure....

Indeed, they trade blows pretty well. The OP2 has the edge on price, performance, RAM (with the higher end 64GB model) and battery with more capacity and a less draining screen. Where as the Moto X Style/Pure has a better screen (in terms of PPI but the OP2 has IPS vs the Moto's TFT), camera and a MicroSD card slot along with NFC and Fast Charge.

Either is a decent option at the value end of the market.

I think I'll have one of these two

The only things that I can see making a difference to me are

Real battery life
If they were equal I'd chose moto now (fast charge!)
But with a bigger battery and 1080 you'd hope one has the real world edge
