They need to get these bugs addressed asap. Poor speaker is a shame.
LG G4 can be had under £350 and is a strong alternative. As are plenty of other handsets.
Give it 2 months and more reviews from the big name sites. Especially Anandtech.
I'm a bit puzzled as to why I'd want to pay to upgrade from an OPO. Am I missing something?

Honestly anyone with a phone that has a SD800, similar or above shouldn't bother upgrading. The SD810 doesn't perform significantly that well due to throttling so overall performance won't be that much different. Might be best to wait for the SD820 which, if the SD620 uses the A72 cores, the Kyro cores should be a beast. Qualcomm states the first SD820 phones will be out in early 2016.
Quite a nice review, still waiting on a few more but for the price it seems like a really solid phone. Oxygen OS actually looks very good, stock Android and tweaks that actually seem handy. Performance and battery actually looks pretty good considering it's using an underclocked SD810. Now I feel like I want this phone even more

Shame the battery life is quite average compared to the OnePlus One (pre-Lollipop to be fair).

beginning to think it's a good thing i didn't get an early invite - moto x is definitely looking more likely at this rate 
I don't think OPO are going to do so well with this compared to the OP1. This year we've got 2 Moto Xs (3 if you count last year's) and there will be two Nexus phones so the stock/nearly stock Android crowd is pretty well covered. Given that the OPO2 will actually be harder to purchase than any of the above devices the question is - why bother?
I like my OPO, it's great, but I will jump ship for better software support and more reliable hardware.

Sadly nope. The OP forums was flooded with invite begging threads but they seem to have died down now, only to be replaced with "I'm getting this phone instead" now
.I expect the shareable invites to be handed out within a couple of weeks time.
Right now, invite only or take your chances on eBay.
