OnePlus One.

Had my opo a week now & way better than the previous S5.
I was sick of the S5 bloatware lagging it a lot & refused blow the e-fuse.
Just put CM12 nightly on the opo and its awesome now, even scores higher than a note 4 on antutu at 49200.

My EE contract is up for renewal in May and I am potentially looking to get myself one of these.

I currently have a nice friends and family discount on my EE account and don't really want to sacrifice this, so I may just switch my contract up to a sim only deal.

So I need to know if they accept an EE sim?

Nevermind - managed to find some more info on the official site.

Is this a good phone with Three 4G network?

overall quality of the phone vs Samsung, Sony..etc? worth it?

or wait for March 2015 phones?

I am with 3 but the 4g in my area is pretty cack but the 3g speeds are pretty good and it steams Youtube videos no problem and the quality is good, I got mine in November and I have had no issues so far.

I swapped from a Sony Z3C to the OnePlus a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it. It's built well, and I love the capacitive buttons (you have the choice of on screen if you prefer).

I'm on Three and it works as well as my Sony did, ie. not that well anymore. This is related to Three in London/Thames Valley though and not the phone, I originally thought the Sony was at fault. Unfortunately Three seem to have attracted all the customers who abuse unlimited data.

Thanks, for the price and the specs it comes with, none of the competition can beat it.
I will wait for March to see what LG, Sony and SS going to offer. if the price is right vs specs i may end up getting S6 or Z4.

-OnePlus two arriving in Q3 2015 with smaller screen.

Thats a good 4G speed!

I've seen around 30 down on 3's 4G network, its definitely getting better too imo, better coverage and speeds. Around here anyway. :)

Every Tuesday, we will open up sales for 24 hours, starting at 8 am London time (midnight in Los Angeles; 4 pm in Hong Kong). The OnePlus One will be available without an invite in both 16GB Silk White and 64GB Sandstone Black.

Hi guys, a few questions...

1. Do these still suffer from the yellow screen issue towards the bottom?

2. How long do they take to arrive once ordered?

3. Do you feel this phone competes with the iPhone 6?

Thanks

1. No. Not as far as I'm aware. Had mine since August and have not had any yellow banding.
2. Not sure a week ish probably.
3. IMO yes, but I dont like iOS or iPhones. :D

Still worth getting one of these? The N5 is getting a little up pity of late and I'm not too taken with many of the other "flagship" handsets at the minute... Near enough to stock for me, so worthy of consideration.
