OnePlus One.

Completely out of the blue, i received an invite from Oppo this morning, and promptly purchased one. :D

Two things i cant confirm though, if anyone can answer:
1) does it support Bluetooth Low Energy?
I'm observing that the OnePlus forums to be full of wallys who proclaim "of course, it supports BT 4.0" - my N4 supports BT 4.0, but doesn't have Bluetooth Low Energy...

2) Notification LED?

Anyone familiar enough with it to comment?

I can't comment on bluetooth I'm afraid as it's not something I use.

I can comment on the LED....it has one. Just to the left of the earpiece and it's a nice bright glow, sharper than the blurry one on my N4, I prefer it on the One.

Gone back to the Nexus 5.

CM11s is far too buggy for my liking with force closures frequently occurring just undertaking basic tasks.

Don't get me wrong it's a good phone but I need something that just works out of the box. No doubt when Cyanogen get around to squashing the bugs on the next release the OPO will simply be unbeatable that is until the Nexus 6 appears.

No problems for me so far. Have you got one from a reseller and it's 16GB?
If it's from1+ then get the cm 64GB image and use fastboot to reinstall.

What are the issues that were causing the FCs stoosh?

Just things like going into settings every now and then and doing stuff like turning WiFi off. It doesn't happen all the time but it's annoying.

Already downloaded the CM 64GB image and tried that. Am still getting the occassional force close thanks for your suggestion anyway.

You're probably lucky that you've not experienced any issues thus far however at some point most likely you will due to 11s build being buggy.

Well known tech blogger on Twitter who bought the Oneplus phone direct from them is having the same issues.

So far I find

The following are down grades for me
The camera is terrible
The speakers are poor
The signal is bad
The yellow screen is annoying

Better
Screen (apart from yellow)
No bloat
RAM

But really the screen is the only thing that's better
Definitely priced at the right point rather than a bargain
Is Shame speakers are bad, and the camera
The camera is so bad I will only use it for eBay listings and reference

Does anyone else have their torch turn on randomly?

Can you tell what your comparing too?
As most reviews say the camera is above average, as are the speakers. That the signal OK my has issues in low signal LTE areas and that the yellow screen issue goes with time.

My old phone was a Motorola razr Maxx HD

The speaker was definitely better.
Louder and clearer even tho it was mono

Mine has signal issues full stop vs my Motorola

The camera wasn't great on my old phone but this is worse

sample pics but there are loads around. 4K is awesome. Signal is better then my last phone on 3. I can't fault it.

You got yours from 1+ didn't you?

What about trying the stock android ROM?

I really can't be bothered. I have a Nexus 5 so it really kind of negates doing that and I have Xposed and Gravitybox installed too so I get the same benefits of Cyanogenmod without actually installing another ROM along with stability.

Other than the superb battery life, extra memory and slightly better camera there isn't much that the OPO has over the N5. If I'd paid a fair amount for the phone I would not be impressed it's saving grace is the price point at which it is available for.

The yellow screen really began to annoy me too I also found the N5 just that tiny bit faster but the difference is negligible.

Good phone but not that great after a week with it definitely not the flagship killer I thought it was once was and I might actually sell the phone somewhere.

If OPO / Cyanogen can iron out the bugs in the software and get rid of that horrible yellow tint on the bottom then it will be up there. For now I'm happy to go back using my N5 even with its awful battery and wait for the N6 and Motorola X+1

Interesting to hear some contrasting opinions. Luckily I've not had any crashes of any kind yet, and I'm coming from an N4 so maybe my perspective on things like the camera is tainted by that, but I think its great.
