OnePlus One.

People over at XDA are reporting another OTA update. Maybe it's the proximity sensor battery drain fix?

Cyanogen are keeping this phone going OPO on the other hand are letting the side down rather badly.

Hopefully it'll be a zip...

I got it back out the box to try and just lol. Battery drain still there and they tried but failed to mask the multi touch problem.

Generic response to my Rma request

I'm torn
It's really a question of - do I trust this company to honour the warranty beyond my PayPal protection?

I like the phone itself. But the problems

You are borderline trolling now, bluntly.
We get it! You don't like it and are annoyed!

Oh be quite or is that you 1+ fan boy?

The NFC no longer works when the phone is in stand by. It was ok before, now you have to wake it up before NFC will work. Another fail.

That's pretty standard Android behaviour the NFC is normally off when the screen is off.

As I said it was working before on mine. I could put a tag(say turn on wireless) at the back when it was in stand by and it would work.

Guy at work has got one of the tempered glass screen protectors, seems good, but the friction when doing gestures is definitely noticeable.

Anyway, any one using the official cases?

Google services was running my battery down. Done a full reset back on charge, lets see what happens.

goto privacy guard and then advanced and disable most of the google play services apart from location for GPS reasons. Theres a big thread on XDA about other ways to stop the Google play wakelock

Its worth noting that a colleague at work hasnt updated yet. We both have similar 'on time' (give or take 15-20mins) and similar screen on time...I'm on 30% more battery. So the bug appears to be, touch wood, fixed.
Not got the google play issue yet though, but I'd assume the next play update would fix that anyway...

Sometimes when on facebook and scrolling i would have it accidently open something because of touch screen issues, not having this at all since updated, touch response seems much better.
