Ok, just been flicking around randomly and it does indeed seem fixed as it hasn't done it yet. :)

Now to see how the battery holds up...
 
It appears that the battery fix hasnt been fully released yet, i think its better than it was anyway but its nice to know more is coming to make it even better.

Yes, I use this device exclusively. So does my mom, brother, wife, and almost my entire company.
Yes, the app mentioned here actually showed me hentai (including blue tentacles) on first launch. I can't make this stuff up if I wanted to. That's cool and all, but really out of place in an app like that.
The log posted here contains a bunch of TricksterMOD stuff. being run as root. That's immediate disqualification and quite frankly a waste of my time to try and debug. Grep for that string in the log. We want to do our best to support unlocked devices, but you can't screw around with power management and then complain of power drain issues.
Feel free to open a new issue, but please, disable this stuff first, whatever it is. 33R was meant to be a security and critical bugfix release, it does not resolve everything for everyone. Several power-related fixes made it in 33R, but it's significantly behind mainline and we are focused on next week's proper release.
 
Everytime my phone starts from a cold boot, SYSTEMUI crashes 4-5times in a row.
This only really happens when I let the phone die due to forgetting to charge it.
 
Anyone heard anything about when the next OTA will drop?
The supposed "full fix" for the battery and the new digitizer firmware.
 
So I've been having issues with Android OS draining my battery and keeping the phone awake.

Uninstalled the Google Search app and it seems to have fixed it... Time will tell.
 
It is a little odd, as before the update with the google app installed it wasn't anywhere near that bad.

It seems the new update and that app don't sit well together? Will see how this goes and try reinstalling it and see if there is a difference....

Thought I'd just add my feelings on phone after a week of use...

For the price this is a damn good bit of kit, got the 64GB version (have to as no extra card slot) in black with a smart flip cover (an extra £10)

So far I've been a lucky one (seeing peoples comments here).... can just see the yellow tint *IF* I set the screen to all white and look for it (I'm sure if I had not read about it I'd have never noticed).

Phone has received all the OTA updates, battery seems good so far.

Have now unlocked bootloader/installed TWRP/rooted... which was good as the double-tap to open had stopped working after one of the OTA updates but is now working again.

The cover is excellent, it's "smart" in that opening the cover switches the screen on and closing it locks the screen and gives front and back protection ... neat :)

I just hope I dont need to test out the RMA process or raise a ticket!
 
Glad to hear your enjoying it mate. I'm starting to struggle with mine Ghost swipes seem more prominent than I've ever noticed before not sure whether I've learnt to type even quicker or the update made it worse. But it's starting to grind my gears more than the slight yellowing which I've got used to now. I've a feeling it's hardware as it's still not been fixed.
