many have bought from aliexpress but one advantage from buying from Oneplus direct is the extra year warranty.
there's an invite list here on ocuk, get yourself added,
there are 4 of us waiting for invites (as we have purchased the phone) to come to ocuk members, they arrive approx 3 weeks after ordering the phone though

There's also the option of buying an Invite of Ebay, although how legit that is can be anyone's guess.
Invites expire after some time, some ranging from 24hours to 6 days, and it seems there are some listed on the bay for 4-5 days but screenshot showing the invite expires in 2 days.
Seriously just order the phone from Aliexpress, this wait is getting ridiculous, ordered 1st August, still hasn't changed from processing.
Submitted NOT ONE but TWO tickets or whatever the **** they call it and still they haven't replied to me.
To top it all off you have people ordering their phone in Italy or Denmark on the 6th and have already received it and all of these phones are coming from a warehouse, which is in the UK.

Why not just buy it from a UK-based eBay seller?

Well initially I thought the best way of obtaining the phone was to receive an invite and order through the company (Oneplus).
There aren't many UK based sellers selling these (not when I looked) and if they are they've priced them £50-£100 more.
to be fair, you'll pay about £20 more from aliexpress but get it quicker than direct, you do forfeit a year warranty but does that really matter?
how many of you will keep the phone longer than that?
the new nexus, motorola and OnePlus 2 will no doubt be out within that time.

Probably not running CyanogenMod.
Some are selling it pre-installed with it. The main issue is it's lacks some LTE bands, and warranty is in China.
Also no CyanogenMod engraving on the back. Might be an issue for some.
I'm still using an iPhone 4S.
