swapped the MSI board for an NF7 and done some fiddling, here's the result:

currently 32Mb Pi stable, not Primed yet.

Hi everyone, i thought that i'd better post my best effort before it becomes embarassingly slow. Got it 1M Pi stable with 39sec, but not prime (unless 4mins counts!), still valid though right? Wish i didn't get a 2400M now, reckon i could have done a lot more with a real good clocker.

my current systems is

Intel p4 3.o ghz, Asus P4C800-E Deluxe mobo with 1gb Geil PC3200 ddr.

i once doubled the default clock speed on a CPU

it was a celeron 600 though - it'd post up to 1250ish and run stably at 1180

i got it to run default clock on 1v

@wescott, that is huge dude, but can we add 1mb superpi to it? I don't know if I can beet you, but for A64's you are kicking ass, I am a fellow 754.

We should make it 1mb superpi and 32mb for stability doncha think?

Before I would have said to be stable it would have to be Prime stable, but with the whole Prime / Wini thing that would be unfair. So I would take 32mb PI as stable np. But I'm not botherd about stable. i want the max mhz before things fry!

OK What we need is raw speed, but that makes the most difference as measured by 1mb superpi (when it comes to A64). we should take into account that 1mb cache that some people have.
