Yeah Jet, still at it mate. There be life in that there chip yet;) It's been at 2593 2-2-2-5 (good for 11th on the table), so should be able to push that little bit extra (Want 2621 or higher)

I know Socket A Clocking is old now, but I like it, and it's not exactly a huge investment if it all goes up in smoke.

Oh.. weescott. you gonna make an X2 & Opty section on your table mate? Got a 4200 here, and when i suss out this 64bit malarky, I'll clock it.

Well, I'm back with more results.

The prommie has been taken on and off more than a lady of the night's knickers lately, so I thought I'd give my 3700 another run on my new motherboard.

As always, Mach II GT cooled. :)

Edit: Just thought I'd point out that interestingly my 3700 runs around 4 degrees cooler than my 146 at the same speed and voltages.

Nice going Kes! What mobo is that on?

I'm going to kain my 3700 again once I update to a later BIOS that has dividers working again on my DFI.

@ 1.68v under Mach GT2 @ -10 IDLE ! I did this 6 months ago when I had my fx55, I bought it before CPU even recognised the san diego FX55 ! LOL

When I pushed her to 3700 I got a RED SCREEN OF DEATH !!! Boy, did I s*it myself...

Highest stable I had her was 3475mhz and I held the world record for the fastest 8m SuperPI run for like 8 weeks before TOM @ XS beat it! LOL

Do you bolt that PC down to the desk to avoid take-off? :D

I bet it's nice and cool though even if a bit loud.

Nah, it lies on it's side. With the weight of the big Papst (Metal Chassis), it's staying right where it is!

This is what it gets though... 5th place on the non-M AXP table i believe?

Who says Socket A clocking is boring?

System is:- JUIHB DLT3C 0308 1700, 2x512MB CH-5 (No booster... yet;) ), Abit NF7 rev2, and a whole lot of air...:D Not stable yet (Hangs not long after CPU-Z verification), but working on that.. lot's of tweaking n stuff to do.

Sad I know for a 2600 XP-M, fastest I barked it up was a PR of 4800 but the system was well unstable and playing merry hell with the BIOS.

Board is MSI Delta K7N2, cooled by T/take Peltier and air.

I would love to find a cheap w/c kit for this but when I am running it at PR of 3600+ and have a stock temp of 36 degrees at any time dropping to 28 idle, I am quite happy as it is unless someone wishes to add some advice on settings...

AO :D
