Opera 9.50 released

Yep mines crashed a few times whilst downloading too. Opera just dies totally and locks the whole machine.

I might go back to 9.27 too.

That's strange. Not what i would expect if you are running 9.50. Did you install it as an upgrade from a previous version? If so, perhaps try saving your important files (wands, bookmarks etc), uninstall Opera completely, including your profile directory, and do a fresh install of 9.50. That's the only thing i can think of.

-edit- i believe there is a version 9.5 as well as 9.50. When installing, make sure you've got 9.50:

Whenever I install a new version of Opera - I always uninstall the previous version and then let e.g. Ccleaner do its stuff. However I'm not sure where this file is lol. Will have another look now.
 
Nice to see Opera are working on this so soon. :)

Btw any idea how I get Dragonfly? Is it in the 9.50 release I've got or do I need to download and install another version of the 9.50 release?
