i cant say ive heard of those, i will look around to see what you mean. unless you have some pictures lying around?

It's from the cheaper Lian Li cases, someone might have a spare... they unscrew easily and like I said would fit in quite easily.

I have a G50, and they maybe cheap for Lian-Lis, but thats not cheap compared to a beige wonder! And I'm afraid my hard drive cage is occupied! :p

yeah im with you on the green/black thing. hmmm, i might be able to rotate a cage, not sure whats going in the front yet though, would be nice to get the hdd up there too. i had managed to mount the drive above the psu, using the vent holes for the screws. i reckon it would have been nice with a window and the drive polished.
the side was on, well not fully, it was leaning against the case so there was a little gap! :D

With that black interior it would be a shame not to show it off, so I'd go for the window option.

Not too sure about mounting a hard drive near the PSU though, could mean a bit of interferance, but certainly a fair bit of heat too!

PK!

sorry folks, its been a while but i have been too busy reading other peoples threads! the stuff on here makes you want to chuck your own case in the bin and start again!
anyways, i found some of this round a mates house for the front, what do you think? i thought it would be good to get rid of the shiney and smooth look and rough it up a bit with this?

looks like decent mesh, make sure it doesn't go rushy if its steel, as i've noticed that one of the drive bay extension things i took out my old case has rust on it where it'd got scratched.

would that go behind the vertical slits you've got on the front of the case?

good point about rust, its gonna need a right buffing too, excuse the dirty finger prints by the way!
will need aligning a bit better too!
