I made a post (rant) on the Rock, Paper, Shotgun forums and an E.A staffer contacted me and helped to resolve the problem.

This was after I had spent a while on the phone to E.A head office too.

Hope you get it sorted soon.

My experience is that frontline E.A staff are useless when it comes to anything important like this.

Some BBC stuff is in HD, some of it is actually quite interesting as well, such as The Tube. I still don't see what you're trying to say, you think you only have to pay a license fee if you watch BBC? But you can watch all channels other than BBC without a license?

But for the off show you may like you can just watch it on demand for free.
