Only had 1 game against the AI so far to get a little grasp of things, But one thing I can say, I absolutely LOVE the music, its tremendous.

Yeah I'm loving the graphics and the Terran units. Thor is one of my favs! 
Ok so I've mastered the Terrans on the 'insane' difficulty against Zerg, Terran and Protoss. I simply defend against the first attack and counter with marauders and Thors with the odd siege tank deployed at each expansion I've destroyed (stops new expensions)
However I'm having such problems with being Protoss. How do you do defend with these guys against say another Protoss? I can't seem to defend against Zealots, their shields and dps are ridiculous. Protoss don't seem to have any sort of decent defence. Is attack the best form of defence for these guys?

So err how are you playing? 
via a dodgy launcher that lets you play offline vs AI. Beta client is freely available from fileshack and you don't need to log in for the client to update from Blizzard.
The Stracrack AI is at version 6 now, it's pretty impressive what bored SC fans who didn't get into the beta get up to

I thought everyone knew you didn't need a key. That's why I find it funny that people are willing to pay so much for a key...STILL. I don't need multiplayer as my internet is too slow
Can I just say that I don't ever illegally download fully retail games and will be buying the full game when it's released

Not that i've bought one but playing against a random ai is nowhere near as fun as playing with your friends online. I've got this new ai v6 and whilst it is fun for practicing does not have the same feel as playing people.
Very true. I'd play online if 1. I had a decent enough connection (even ocuk sometimes gets a page cannot be displayed) and 2. if I was in the beta

Will it just appear in my games as the picture above (post 278) At the moment i just have starcraft anthology.
Been playing some games against V6 AI and Chinese x5, damn its hard compaired to 'Hard' and 'Insane' I managed to fend off a terran marine rush yesterday with my zerglings then managed to upgrade and expand. However a huge army of protoss wiped me out.
Does anyone know when its going to be released? I dont think they can perfect it much more. Maybe more of the awesome music

Yep thats exactly what happens. you will get an email saying you have been invited. and when you log into you bnet account the beta will be there (as the screeny from post above looks)
by my guess, it will be released soemtime early summer?
I must say, the matchmaking system so far seems very good, as does the balance of units.
I see a lot of people complaining about Roaches being imbalanced. after actually playing with them and vs them, people just need to find the correct counter and they just die extreamly quickly...
Loving this game atm!
