Quick question, what are the chances of getting into the Beta at this point? I'm guessing it's essentially zero?

Been watching some videos and it looks like a hell of a lot of fun but no release date in sight makes me sad :(

a friend of mine got one through on his email the friday just gone, so there is still chance...

their doing a reset of the ladder etc soon as well, so i'd expect some more keys to be dished out, keep an eye out on here as i know some people give them away/sell them. can normally get one for £20-30
 
had this on pre-order since 2007 , with playing the beta and it's current state i would say it's not worth the £24.99 that is the price i will pay on release . i might even cancel it if the battlenet bug is not fixed before release

I'm sure I read somewhere that that bug is being addressed in the next patch...
This is the point of the beta release, to iron out the bugs. (its not just a free play of the game ;))

thats just daft... its BETA, thats the whole point! if you have a problem you report it.. problem then gets fixed and game becomes awesomest! :)

that or its just "working as intended" ^^

its been beta since 2007 but not to out side of blizzard , the patch has been in testing since sat if you read the beta forums .the patches are making it worse and not better in my opinion and i have played many betas since 1998

didnt they only start revamping bnet at the beginning of this year?

yeah the game was started many a moon ago, but bnet was only set to be revant very recently, i remember seeing a new thing about it, i'll try and find the link. Bnet was what is actually setting the release date atm, as it has quite a few bugs. if you notice, the are very very few bugs in game, just balancing issues, but thats expected even after release!
 
As long as its all fixed by release date I don't care. All our stats will be reset for release anyway so its not like they mean anything now (not that I play matchmaking).

The only irritation is re-creating my friends list. But as I only play with people that post in this thread and Guest2 has been keeping a list, its only 5 min effort, not the be all and end all for a game I am playing for free.

I don't believe so :(.

I managed to login and all my stats were gone and I played a placement match but now I can't login :mad: . Can't by too mad as it is a beta.

EDIT: Managed to login but my stats now show an other users, so who knows what's going on.
