So many games I want to see.Stephano and Polt have been the two best players this weekend so it should be a fantastic final. Both showed their strengths in the TvZ matchup in the semis so it's really hard to call at the moment.
If Stephano manages to pull it off, is there really any foreigner that can claim to be close to him? I'll be rooting for Polt anyway because Stephano's arrogance annoys the hell out of me, but the Frenchman has got to be considered up there with the best Korean zergs (well, maybe not DRG).
The guy doing the interviews and introducing the players is probably the biggest douche I've seen in a long time. There's nothing about him that doesn't irritate me.

I'm about 90% sure Stephano can take it. He's proved he can beat any korean.
That's delusional.
I won't deny that he's one of the best non-koreans but he is not anywhere near as good as the top Koreans.
This is delusional and has to be a troll? He has beaten lucky for IPL3, he's beaten DRG, hero, TheSTC and Inori as well as Puma. He constantly places high in tournaments, so who are the top Koreans? Nestea and MVP are both in a slump and have been beaten by foreigners and eliminated from MLG. MMA has struggled to barely make it through this GSL - there is no one Korean dominating at the moment.
The Koreans may be over-whelming tournaments but the fact Stephano is nearly always up there with them is testament to the fact he is 'near' the Koreans - as are a select few other foreigners.

While the price does seem a little steep the production and the quality of the games that they are producing seems very high compared with anything else to far. I didn't pay for it myself as I was a MLG Gold member and didn't want to give MLG more money. Also all of the VODS for the MLG winter arena will be live for free one week after then event. It's also difficult to call the greedy when they payed for all the players flights, hotels and food no matter where they where flying in from.
As for the Assembly Winter finals !! HOW DID POLT MAKE SO MUCH STUFF WITH SO LITTLE INCOME! :O !!

Just started to watch the AHGL Season 2, and I notice they are basically only commentating on one set of games per week? A little annoying as I enjoy watching tournaments like this, so to only see a few of the games cast when there are so many being played, its a little annoying. Then again, its all being done by Day9, so it would be really hard for one guy to cast, what 14 best of 5 series a week? Though IIRC, TotalBiscuit helped cast some from the last season when there were less games.

Just got sc2, any tips for the multi for beginners? see a lot of people seem to stay away from zerg and they get pumped online, is this right?

Pumped? No idea what that means but ok. 
You should just play whatever race you enjoy. There's no such thing as balance issues in lower leagues, just bad and better players. So don't choose a race because someone says it's OP or whatever. I'd recommend playing Random for a bit so you get a good feel for all the races.
You will find lots of guides on TeamLiquid for each race.

Haha sorry when I said pumped was meaning badly beaten.
Yeah I plan on trying them all. Quite used to Terran as been playing the single player.
Was actually to scared to get the game as the idea of playing online is quite intimidating. Have a few friends that have it now so hopefully ease myself in to it

Yeah it's a lot more fun playing with mates rather than just laddering. Easiest way to get ladder anxiety out of the way is to buy a 2nd account to practise on. Some may say it's a waste of money but I bet over 50% of the sc2 community have ladder anxiety and waste there time hovering their mouse over the find match button. Besides if you shop around you can get a copy for about £20 which is nothing really.
According to some random guy in chat on a random sc2 cast: "they paid for the cheapest tickets they could get, the long downtime flights".
