**** Original Starcraft 2 Thread ****

it's not really fun to do.
it's just like "wah I've kiled you now I winnors" with 0 counter.
it's almost as bad as being cheesed by protos dropping a gate in your natural.
 
god damm it i hate random 2v2 :) i got to gold rank 2 just outside platinum
just playing with who ever the auto balancer gave me and at first it went
ok until i get to gold / plat level where everyone has a preset team and knows
who they are playing with

i looked at the ladders and there is a "2v2" and a "random 2v2" league
that to me would seem like people not signing up in a party are in 1 league
and people just signing up by them selves and going in a "random" game
are in separate leagues, but obviously not ... anyways thats my super constructive post :)

anyone wanna give a 2v2 team a shot looking to be moderatly good .. im nothing special but would like a player who can compete at like gold level
 
Somehow after placement I ended up in Silver league, and I'm only just holding my own. (I've lost one more game than I have won)

The game has gotten a lot harder since they took wireframe casting off. I can no longer map all my queens and hatcheries to one key and vomit on all of my bases in 3 seconds flat.

I spend most of my time cycling through bases vomiting.

I hope in subsequent patches they allow the queen to vomit multiple times on the base.
Terran and Protoss can accumulate their macro boost. But you stuff it up with the queen and you end up behind.

then when you say you REALLY don't give a **** about what two people on eastenders are doing she gets in a strop.

btw that thingy I was saying.
it's like some crasy fast reaper rush. don't build ANY SCVs just get a refinery up then a rax then a tech lab and supply
you can have 4 reapers out before he's got any marines (or just two, easy to kill) then wipe out his supply while he's low.
doesn't work against zerg it would seem.

How do you use your hotkeys with your hatches/queens... Im aware that you can normally do this really quickly, but have fallen into the old sc/bw way of hotkeying each hatch and then manually vomiting, takes a couple of seconds longer, but havnt figured out how to do it like you do here ^^

Also, won all my Placements again, Platinum again :) yey
need a 2v2 Partner

I used to hotkey all my hachs to 5 (for spawning units)
and all my hatches and queens to 6. I'd then press 6, r [shift][click on hatch icons].

But they disabled that feature so I think I will probably hotkey my hatch to 4 from now on then my queens to 5-9 the double tap the number to focus on the queen i.e.

55, v [click on hatch], 66,v [click on hatch], 77,v [click on hatch] 88,v [click on hatch], 99,v [click on hatch].

Just need to re-teach myself.

ahh right, i hope they fix that, sounds so much easier.. im currently doing the 44 - v - click

Blizzard have said that "Wire Casting" will not be put back into the game, whether they change their mind or not I do not know.

Its a bit **** for Zerg, imo.

If you are terran and forget to call in a harvester, no problem, next time call in 2 or 3.

If you are protoss and you haven't chrono boosted in a while, no problem, chono boost everything

If you are zerg and you have not vomited in a while... Tough, build a creep tumor (and once you have built one of those per queen you don't really need to build any more). Actually I guess there is always transfusion, which you will need as you are behind on macro and or army.

When are you gonna be on? We can do 2v2s again if you want.
