That's awesome. It would seem that the community is a lot more friendlier than the communities I'm used too (winning a duel game usually results in a lot of swearing and a disconnect in most games.. mentioning no game names)
I wont lie, I hate working through single player campaigns! I'd rather get stuck in online, and completely ignore the single player aspect. Maybe that's not the right way to go. How big is the campaign? Maybe I should just work through it on easy mode to get a little experience so I know what's going on!
Haha don't worry there's still plenty of ****** ***** ** **** players out there, but it's a far more friendly environment in general than most other multiplayer games I've played.
Yea honestly I've never quite understood why people dont like SP. I get it if it's a terrible story but..it's half the point of the game surely

Fair enough though, if you want to just get stuck in start reading on liquipedia and play some games vs the AI. Not sure if you've seen it yet but Day9 has some pretty good videos for basic mechanics over at day9tv. dApollo also posted some 'from the beginning' videos on youtube describing some of the very very basics and building up to basic strategy and tactics, so you may have some success watching those.
If you just want to jump straight in I'd definitely suggest having a watch and practicing some of the basics vs AI, then taking full advantage of your 50 practice games (slower games which have no bearing on ladder ranking) before joining the main ladder in full.
