Well, it finished all Korean top 4 - it's mental... European boys didn't really have anything to say in it. The gap between Koreans and non-Koreans is still massive. TaeJa just smashed that tournament to pieces.

The gap is still huge but there are select foreigners that can win consistently against Koreans (without luck) like Naniwa, Stephano, Nerchio and Kas.

It's just due to how Koreans approach practice and matches IMO which is why us lazy foreigners will never be that good.

Yes i know, Nerchio in my opinion is te best atm from non-kor players. Btw what happened to Chinese? I'm not following SC as much as I was earlier...

The last big event the Chinese were in was WCG 2011 where MVP beat Xigua in the finals.

There are still a few Chinese players in GSL Code A but with the high amount of talent in Code A due to the flawed system of GSL they're getting knocked out and not qualifying.

Last time I saw them play was in a IPL5 qualifier where I believe Xigua won.

And what about all those players from wc3? Did they moved to SC2 or just stopped playing? China had really strong line up in this game. They were even winning everything at one point.

There are a few WC3 vets still kicking around (Khaldor is a GSL caster now). I can't remember who all played WC3 before but I know there are some. Moon is one of them.

But Moon is korean. OK i found it. Chinese players like Sky, Ted, Fly and Infi didn't switch to play SC2. Thats kinda sad news. I'm just happy that my friend Satiini is still playing. Had some good games with him in wc3 :)

Probably late this year or early next year. Blizz are so slow.

Been playings 2s random these past few days, due to ladder anxiety in 1s and absolutely storming it. Only a gold leaguer but feel like I should be getting promoted soon. A good thing I've found for a beginner going into more of more comfortable feel to the game is sticking with a build for each game. My past 600 odd games total I've always mixed it up, now I'm sticking with DTs for early harass and going coloss/archons and it is great, on like a 20 game winning streak with it now.

I have found sticking to 1 build works well too.

I switched to Terran from Zerg and I really enjoy it for 3v3 random games. I just do a fast 2 Rax build and go from there based on what I scout. Normally MMM + either viking or Tank/Thor; although Banshees worked for me once when none of the opposing players built any unit that was anti air.

On the other hand, Im still horrible at 1v1 with Terran. My last games vs another Terran I quit out of sheer boredom!

TvT can be boring if neither play knows how to break a siege line.

Rank 1 2v2 gold league bitches. I was in top 25 plat last season, but always nice to hit rank 1 and I'm pretty crap. few games ago my partner gg'd after a drop in his main and i continued and beat my opposition. I had dts and managed to juke lots of scans and they had no dection and I was able to dismantle them both.

A friend and I are trying to learn how to play this game properly (mostly 2v2, 1v1 is too stressful :p). Would anyone on here be willing to assist us and be a 3v3 partner, giving us advice?

2v2 isnt stressful?! Goodness me the amount of cheese/silly allins you have to deal with..cant stand it. :o Although to be fair both 3v3 and 4v4 get to that point eventually.

I'm generally up for some games. VoidPtr.167, and i tend to hang around the OcUK chat channel when i'm online :)

There's an ocuk chat channel?

In gold 2v2/3v3 I have no stress when playing, but in 1v1 not knowing what my opponent is up to seems to cause me stress. It's very strange.
