**** Original Starcraft 2 Thread ****

Patch 1.5 now out on NA. Comes to EU early tomorrow morning.

I'm having problems with logging into my NA account. It says I need to have authorisation to use the game in this language. It worked perfectly fine before the patch :(

Hopefully when the patch finishes streaming it'll work, if not I'll be peeved.
 
After a few weeks been re-promoted back to gold! Had a bit of a downward run which saw me demoted to silver and now I got back up!

I'm hoping to get back up to diamond on my off-racing account, but my game sense as P and Z is nonexistant :(. Can't play much atm so it's hard to actually improve.

My verdict on 1.5:

- counted about 10 different bugs already from personal experience, ranging in severity from irritating to game breaking
- fog of war looks nice
- arcade section is a massive improvement
- menus look kinda ugly
- profile view is better now

so a mixed bag. Once they iron out all the bugs it'll be a decent upgrade on the previous UI.

Is it sticking on the grey update window with the SC2 logo?

This patch is so god damn awful, broke custom games and some stuff on ladder. It's not like they should've even touched that stuff.

I would but I'm on a crappy BT Openzone till my internet gets installed on the 10th XD

This is shocking, suggestions of turning off antivirus & firewall, selective startup etc. Never had a problem with the update before so why now and why loads of other people having the same issue. I cant post on the forum as i need to create a game character or something (which is done from in game) hopefully more people will see this

I can't find any fix Guest2 -_- Try deleting the patch in the SC2 directory and then starting it again.

Check over these for me? Where am I going wrong? The last game against Zerg was pretty terrible, but had no idea what I could do.

I'm not looking through 4 replays unless they're less than 10mins each lol. I'll look through the last one when I have a chance.

Why aren't there any good Terrans streaming?! >.<

What patch? In the main SC2 folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\StarCraft II) I have just

sc2-x.x.x.x-1.5.0.22342-enUS-Downloader.exe
sc2-x.x.x.x-1.5.0.22342-enUS-Win-Migration-dl

and the SC2 exe, public test exe and editor.

Patch 1.4.4 looks like its about to start and shows 90.7mb but then exits
