Having not played in 81 weeks according to my match history. The parting life game not only made me buy hots but also drop £90 on a mechanical keyboard (my one was broken before, couldnt chronoboost so it had to go 
). Hots seems so much better than WoL, multiplayer could never hold my interest as a brood war player but loving it atm!
Guess my MMR or whatever they use has degraded so much, doing unranked games for a bit of practice and im just crushing bronze players which is a bit lame.
edit: site note - are there any decent channels to idle in lately? I saw some chatter about the UK scene, fully aware that theres nothing there but theres got to be something surely!

just won my first ever SC2 game 
WoL but still. had adrenaline after it. had to have 2 cigs to calm me down. didnt beat him out right though. starved him out. couldnt work out how to break through his defence. T v T. cheekily used an iPhone app to tell me build orders. i havent got a clue about any. whats some good basic terran strats ?

i tried that but got my self chewed up by tanks, throw in some marauders to take the initial hits, would that work ?
Yup, if you're playing WoL a marine maurauder medivac aka MMM is pretty standard way to play. But even then, don't just stim and charge into his tank line. Either find a way around via drops, or if he's turtling hard just keep expanding until you have the whole map and can crush what ever he charges out with.
MMM is standard in TvT? Yea I guess if you have the micro and multitasking a few levels higher than your opponent and it's not one of the absolutely horrid current ladder maps.

I'd say it's one of the 2 standards, as it's always been, the other being marine tank of course.I actually think with the current map pool being so good for drops and with turbo medivacs MMM is extremely viable vs marine tank given the opportunity to outmanoeuvre them. i feel your pain.......
Think I must have lost about 15 in a row against Protoss. Storms just wreck me (despite trying to micro). I try pushing earlier but never seem to be able to quite break the line early so end up in a midgame scenario and get crushed with Protoss death ball!
T V Z is not bad with a hellion/widow mine opening into Thor/Hellbat/Raven build.
I find that too.. is there a UK channel that anybody knows of?
i'm always in the Ocuk channel - it loads automatically when I start the game!

Some of the EG Dota2 guys were always at the EG Lair. I believe the SC2 guys are moving to a different house, I know Demuslim has been moved somewhere else.
Oh well, Demuslim is their only relevant player whom isn't in Korea par those who've just come back.
Fair enough, i know all the EG dota team are moving there. Getting ready for TI3.
