Any spare keys? My exams are over in a week :) I would buy it but beta seems to be closing soon so bit uncertain about that now.

I'll post a stupid picture of me with some hovis on my head or something.
 
My first proper match after the reset was ZvZ on scrapyard, and the guy immediately sent all his drones over to my base to simply attack mine. Took 'em all out and then he left the game...wtf?! :confused:

That was after restarting and getting a few more updates, as I was being dropped left, right, and centre after initially applying the patch. Sorted now.

what the **** are they doing to Zerg...

all very well and good with some nice infestor changes and the overseer gets more use, but Ultras? whaaaat, no logic, nerfed damage and nerfed life makes them better how exactly!?

Its just nerf afer nerf :/

It's not that bad for Zerg. The only buffs Protoss have had is a slight stalker damage boost, a tiny archon splash radius increase and Phoenix being able to move while shooting. 3 buffs, and about 20 nerfs.

thats because there is either nothing wrong with them, or their totally OP. their army composition is so easy to get and so effective just like Terrans really.

the stuff they have nerfed ahs been totally overpowered for a long time, the VR nerf has been long awaited, as have many of the sentry nerfs. The Pheonix buff has now made Mutalisk unviable as well, i've managed to take out 4-5 mutas with a singel pheonix, obviously micro intesive, but for 150/100 unit taking out 500/500, well worth it i think!

Also have no idea why stim research has been lowered, in my opinion, ANYTHING that buffs marauders more is considered stupid. they rip through all the other t1.5 Units like their nothing, and stand extreamly well vs the other T1/2 units.
 
I was really happy this morning, playing as protoss I won 3 games against Terran in the practice area...then in the testing games I got my ass handed to me :P I just can't seem to get units out fast enough, or perhaps it's because things need to be done all over the map, and it's impossible to be everywhere at once.
 
Had a fantastic 3 vs 3 this morning. me (protoss) another protoss and terran vs zerg, terran and protoss. We wom and i ended up coming first

back to my old name of alexl. I attacked with stalkers, dark templar, sentry, zealots and a couple of voids. teammate had air army and other had a mix. My charging zealots and dark templars minced up 2 of the enemy. An observer detected a load of cloaked banshees and my stalkers made short work of them

It ran suprising well to say how much stuff was going on. (6 people probably on about 180-200 supply)

edit - whats the beef with the friend system now?
 
well my sc2 unername is just chaotic now instead of chaotic.chaotic , if you want to add me and need my email address just ask ;) . i want some 3v3 or 4v4 action tonight lol
 
Just won a few games as a bronze newb, even beat a guy that was strongly favoured. Strategy is:
3 Void ray Rush with 3 stargates, while having 3 gateways, by this time having 1 expansion.

Double Fast Expand, build 6-7 more gateways and 3 more stargates

(Have Warp get tech ofc) Warp in lots of ground units (zealots +stalkers) at choke points, and go mass carrier (ie 8-12) attack.

Racism tbh. :mad: ...No, I shouldn't devalue that word so, but come on Blizzard! :rolleyes:

I've been seriously considering stop playing random and just switching between 'toss/Terran. But as someone said previously, we need to continue to play Zerg so they see the game statistics, though they seem to not be paying attention at all. :(

*scurries off to make another thread on the official forums*
