cant really comment much for Protoss or Terran as i don't play them other than the odd game here and there
as zerg, early game i tend to hold them off with a mix of lings/roaches.
then it depends on what they do. if they have more maras than marines, then fast tech to hydra, and combine hydra/roach/ling. if they have more marines, then go for banelings, and slow(er) tech hydra.
vs Reapers, their fairly useless against zerg, but should you see them, use ligns, and surround him before you attack.
don't forget your upgrades too

Protoss don't have a counter to early Reapers, it's the biggest imbalance in the game at the moment. Make your Stalker as fast as you can. You'll lose 3-4 Probes before it's out though.

If the terran is smart he will spawn 4-5 Reapers before hitting your base, Yes you will have a stalker or 4 but the reapers will dance around them blowing up buildings and probes for fun.

The person you are referring to can play well enough with any race to pwn you
I think he played as every race last night in 2v2s and didn't lose a game, in spite of his team mates always being crippled for most of the game.
im up for that, it would be interesting to see me play any race cept Zerg ^^

I'm sure he could. Wiping out a 'noob' like myself with a known tactic that would easily destroy a pro player is a bit cheap though. Taking advantage of my poor zealot slowness

He didn't know you were a "Noob" going into the match
and it is a tactic that as a protoss player you are going to need to work out a coping strategy for. (although tbh my coping strategy was to start using Zerg)Until something is changed, in TvP games I would expect to see more Reaper Rushes, not less going forward. Because they are bloody effective.
If he was Zerg you would most likely see a zergling rush and if he was protoss then it would be a zealot harass. He would dance around your attacking units whilst picking them off one by one and or hitting your probes. I have a lot of experience of being on the receiving end of this

I'm fine with all races, and my reapers came mid-game so it wasn't even a rush!
I picked Terran in SC2 because it was by far my weakest race in SC1.
Damn the key beggars should go and start their own thread insteading of just spamming key key key in this one.
As for mass marauders if you are zerg just go crazy with zergling and speed upgrade then switch to mutas and watch them die. If you are protoss you need to get a mix of everything and micro like a champ as they dont really have a good counter for them.
